Cerakote®

Cerakote® is a thin ceramic coating and offers many of the same benefits as hard chrome, such as high durability and corrosion resistance. Cerakote® projects at Ford's include removal of any rust, pitting, and dings before coating. Using Elite Series or H Series coatings, available in almost any color and able to be applied to any metal or polymer, the combinations for this finish are endless. In addition to being suitable for carbon steel, Cerakote® is a great option for a dark finish on stainless steel and aluminum. Cerakote® finishes are matte, but can be upgraded with custom pigments and patterns.
